The UTSC Library Makerspace is available to current UofT community members.

To gain access to the Makerspace equipment, watch the orientation video below, then complete and submit the short quiz. Within 48 hours you will receive an email from the Makerspace staff confirming that you have access to the great equipment in the Makerspace.

Note: to gain access to the 3D printers, you must attend the Introduction to 3D Printing workshop. Check the UTSC Library events calendar for the next session.

Equipment policies

For equipment that is used outside of the Makerspace, it must be picked up & dropped off at UTSC Library during Makerspace open hours.

Remember to check that all the pieces are returned. You will be charged full replacement fees for lost, stolen or damaged equipment.

3D printing policies

3D printing for non-academic or non-entrepreneurial purposes is $0.50 per 15 minutes.

Payment will be received before printing by debit/credit only.
