Book studio for 5 hours

The One Button and Podcasting Studio is located in AC286, in the new renovated library space to the left of the library entrance. No food is permitted (water bottles or beverages with lids are acceptable). Please note that the space is not sound-proof.

There are 2 bookings available:

  • 9am – 2pm
  • 3pm – 8pm

If you need longer time, book from 3pm – 8pm and you can stay until 15 minutes before the library closes. You cannot book both time slots on the same day.

The podcast equipment is available to UTSC students, staff and faculty only.

Book equipment for 3 days

Equipment can be used outside of the Makerspace. Pick-up and return is at the Makerspace during operating hours. 

If equipment is needed for longer than 3 days, contact the Makerspace and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

How to Book Equipment

You must sign in with your UTOR ID to access MS Bookings

Step 1:

Select the equipment you would like to book. Note the length of the booking – you are not obligated to borrow the equipment for the entire time frame.

For a description of the equipment, select the information icon.

Step 2:

Choose the day of your booking. For items available in the Makerspace, select both the day and time.

For overnight printing, you must come to the Makerspace one hour before closing to set up your print.

Step 3:

Add your personal details:

  • Name
  • UofT email address
  • Student number
  • Status
  • Purpose of the booking

Once you select “Book”, you will receive an email confirmation of your booking.
