UTSC Library Makerspace Newsletter

Issue 25, April 2023

Our Makerspace continues to be open during the summer semester. Take advantage of a less busy schedule to book our popular pieces of equipment.

Good luck with your final assignments and exams!

Funding Opportunities
Do you have an idea for a project/event that involves making? An idea that you think students would be interested in participating in over the next academic year? There is a funding opportunity in the library and the Makerspace team would be interested in collaborating with students on an idea. Here are some idea prompts:
  • What could be created in the Makerspace that could improve the student experience or help solve a pain point on campus (or in the broader community)?
  • Are there new pieces of equipment that you would be interested in having in the Makerspace?
We would love to hear your ideas so get in touch with a staff member or email us by May 12 to pitch your idea.
